Anise Oil is a pure, natural essential oil and is used as a flavouring as well as in aromatherapy for its licorice aroma and flavour, and its digestive benefits. When used as a flavouring, use sparingly as essential oils are potent. 'A little goes a long way!'. LorAnn’s professional strength flavourings and essential oils are 3x to 4x stronger than typical alcohol-based extracts. These potent food flavours are designed for the higher temperature demands of candy making. Note: When substituting these flavours for extracts, use ¼ to ½ teaspoon for 1 teaspoon of extract.
